Ils sont utilis\u00e9s pour am\u00e9liorer \u00e0 la fois le processus de production et les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s esth\u00e9tiques et techniques du produit final. <\/p>\n<p>Dans la fabrication des peintures, les additifs sont souvent utilis\u00e9s pour am\u00e9liorer la finition, la durabilit\u00e9 et le s\u00e9chage ; on utilise \u00e9galement des additifs tels que des charges, des plastifiants ou des \u00e9lastiques, des \u00e9paississants, des dispersants, entre autres.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la fabrication des plastiques la fonction des additifs et des modificateurs \u00e9tait avant tout de surmonter certaines limitations des mat\u00e9riaux plastiques, mais leur plus r\u00e9cents d\u00e9veloppements permettent aussi leur transformation et participent \u00e0 leurs performances, ainsi l\u2019utilisation des additifs est actuellement tr\u00e8s largement r\u00e9pandue.
