Our goal is to ensure that our solutions bring more positive impacts to the environment and society than the footprint it takes to produce them. Recognizing that we all have some level of carbon footprint and impact on the environment, we are committed to developing products and solutions that bring positive impacts to the environment and society that outweigh the footprint it takes to produce them.

U.N. Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, the United Nations adopted the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development with 17 different Sustainable Development Goals. Alterkem is committed to making a different to the environment and have the obligation to contribute towards greater sustainability in the industry. We are aware of our responsibilities towards the environment and society that come with our business activities and market position, and we aim to achieve sustainable value creation.

Our new strategic roadmap and new practices will drive initiatives that will create a positive impact. Our goal is the continuous global development of our sustainability strategy.

Throughout the REACH regulation (law CE n° 1907/2006), the European Parliament requires an information exchange about the use of substances between the different actors of the raw material supply chain, in order to identify their use.

As a distributor, ALTERKEM is part of that chain. We do the necessary to support to our clients as regards as the manufacturing processes. Therefore, we can inform our suppliers about their use, and grant the durability of this chain.
